Ring Pop Bliss...I'm behind

I have taken quite a few photos the past couple of days, I just haven't had the time to go through them. So as a teaser....we have the blue lips from Mads as we watch my nephew stealing the ball over and over again in Upwards basketball. (I have a few great moments from the actual game too!) Hopefully, I can catch up on the sleep over pix and the game pix tomorrow. Right now it's time to give up and go to bed. ZZZZZZ

Missed a few days

See how sweet and innocent her little buddy looks? I look at Mads and just know trouble is coming. They were spray painting a sheet in the rain under a trampoline...10 hours later. I should have known.

Two little angels...who have hidden horns...but I love them both. Until they pester me for a slip n slide in the kitchen. Little darlin's NONONO! These moments define us...right now I am the evil mama that won't let them do what they want. I just hope that isn't how I'm remembered...evil mama.

It is so foggy here! This is behind our house. Not the greatest picture as I am standing on the fence trying to find a shot that doesn't have powerlines...riiiiiiiiiight.

Pic of the day is the History project...she rushed a little at the end but I think it turned out pretty well for a 9 year old knowing NOTHING about the US Civil War. She did not take advice here and there she did her own thing.

History - Pic of the day

As much as I want to step in and do this project for my artistic daughter...I can't. She has awesome ideas, she just doesn't have the dogged desire to do it. She looks at school work as a punishment of sorts. Well, who didn't at this age? She is so smart and so artistic...unlike her mama. I wish I could go back to school sometimes.

Wouldn't it be nice to go back knowing what we know as adults?

This is the beginning of the Union Officer in the making. She is drawing a detailed uniform with pop outs of epaulettes and ranks with weapons etc. She's getting frustrated.

OK...ok, I've ignored the blog.

I've been lost in so many things that have come up in the day to day, I have been neglecting the special place where I document the goodies of the day to day. Got that? So I have a self imposed project of a pic a day. It may suck, it may be brilliant, but I will post a picture every day - if not more. Unless I am away from the computer...then I will make up. I know ya'll are just sooo excited.
